Responsibilities:
* Receive and enter into the computer all incoming raw materials and
specialty equipment
* Physically organize raw materials inventory
* Organize all finished slabs in rack system with forklift (slabs weigh 700
lbs and require careful handling)
* Track data on inventory and shipping activities in online software system
* Keep track of all Packing Slips and forward for Accounting purposes
* Gather bids for outbound freight
* Work closely with Customer Service to ensure that Customer needs are met
* Load Customer trucks with finished products
* Perform month end inventory of raw materials and finished goods
* Pack and ship sample products and literature to Customers
* Coordinate order pickup with shippers and truck drivers
Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience in a Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse role
* Computer proficiency including e-mail, Excel and order management systems
* Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Strong desire to take responsibility and put your imprint on the
manufacturing operations
* Hands-On, “Get It Done” philosophy
* Organized approach to managing workflow
* Strong Forklift operation experience

Job Description:
As our HR Generalist / Office Manager, you will be able to play a
lead role in establishing the HR organization and impacting our growing
culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day HR operations including, but not limited to, the
processing of employment actions (pay increases, promotions, transfers,
terms), new hire on-boarding and orientation, performance management and
annual reviews, etc.
Liaise with office vendors to plan, organize and coordinate office
supply purchasing, facilities management and basic office support services.
Coordinate candidate interviews and travel arrangement (if
necessary).
Format job descriptions and post jobs to external job boards.
Facilitate the hiring process which includes doing reference checks,
sending out offer letters, and providing candidates with benefits
information.
Provide customer service to all domestic and international employees
regarding benefits, compensation and employee relations.
Partner with senior management in rolling out and maintaining
company-wide processes such as performance reviews, new assignment and
recognition programs.
Must have experience and knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, workers´
compensation, HIPPA, COBRA, and immigration initiatives.
Participate in the development and implementation of supporting HR
initiatives to meet the needs of the business.
Maintain HR records and files.
Submit paperwork related to payroll updates and changes to the
Payroll Department on a semi-monthly basis.
Provide support in creating and executing programs to maintain a
healthy and fun office environment.
Qualifications:
2-3 years HR experience. Bachelor´s degree is preferred.
Exposure to the recruitment process.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion; maintain
confidentiality.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing compensation administration,
including job analysis, benchmarking, leveling, and survey participation.
Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask.
Knowledge of employment law.
Excellent and proven leadership, vendor management and analytical
skills.
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Candidate should be a results-oriented team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Purpose Summary:
Admissions
Specialist’s primary function is providing outreach, conducting recruitment, and
enrolling participants in Goodwill’s ReCompute Programs in San Mateo County.
Goodwill’s ReCompute program offers two training programs to participants: 1) an
advanced computer technician training program with internships and 2) a
transitional employment intermediate job training program embedded within
Goodwill’s computer recycling and refurbishing business.

Essential Job Functions: |
|
Under the direct supervision of the San Mateo County Program Manager,
the Admissions Specialist:
§ Plans and conducts outreach and recruitment efforts for
ReCompute training programs in San Mateo County.
Serves as a point of entry for all new participants referred by the
partnering agencies into ReCompute programs.
§ Develops and cultivates existing and potential referral
sources; makes presentations to possible referral sources and the
public.
§ Schedules and conducts group and individual pre-admissions
sessions, including facility tours, with prospective program
participants.
§ Performs initial eligibility screening; administers and
interprets assessments.
§ Conducts intake interviews with persons receiving services;
completes enrollment documentation.
§ Actively maintains and manages waiting lists.
§ Creates client files; completes and enters information in the
database in a timely fashion.
§ Coordinate class enrollments.
§ Works closely with a Career Advisor and Instructor to ensure
seamless flow of services.
§ Works closely with Program Manager and ReCompute management to
determine current service capacities and adjust recruiting efforts
accordingly.
§ Assists in revising current and/or developing new recruitment
materials as needed.
Works collaboratively with worksite supervisors and other Goodwill staff
to ensure participant’s success in the program.
Administers satisfaction surveys to program participants upon entry into
the program.
§ Maintains an in-depth knowledge of Goodwill’s ReCompute
programs and its services, and the needs of those we serve.
Stays in regular communication with referring persons/agencies.
Participates in interagency meetings.
§ Performs duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Public Relations,
Human Services, Education or a closely related field of study. Direct
relevant experience may be substituted for education.
· At least two years of experience in outreach, recruitment
and/or enrollment activities.
· Ability to administer and interpret vocational assessment
tools.
· Understands the process by which individuals define their
career goals.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Strong oral/written communication skills.
· Computer Skills: MS Office and the Internet.
· Good knowledge of San Mateo-based employment, training and
human service providers.
